24 aug  |  A diplomatic row between Sweden and Israel has intensified, with Israeli politicians urging Stockholm to condemn a newspaper article they have described as "blood libel".

In the report, published in Sweden's leading tabloid, a freelance journalist accused the Israeli army of stealing body organs from Palestinian men after killing them.

"The Bomb Shelter" created to demonstrate citizens' reactions to Israel's rocket attacks
29 mar  |  Don't be scared if you hear sirens in Washington Square Park today; there's no need to find shelter.

"The Bomb Shelter" is a "media installation" exhibit that will periodically sound sirens for 15 seconds. Those who choose to participate will have 15 seconds to get to a makeshift shelter. This demonstration is to raise awareness for the rocket attacks in Israel, where citizens only have 15 seconds to escape to safety — and it's not a drill. by Lily Altavena, NYU . . read more

Netanyahu and Obama meet to turn back time
21 may  |  By Stephen Myles

Netanyahu and Obama have met in the White House, with the American President coming out and saying that Israel's borders should be pulled back to pre-1967 levels.

That would mean losing the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the very strategically important Golan Heights.

Seems simple enough but one unnamed observer in Jerusalem has come out and said that with the Arab Spring bringing a positive future to the Middle East it seems strange that Obama wants to turn back time.

What do you think of the suggestion? Should Israel give up its 1967 wins or think of another solution? Tell us and remember...Disqus!  . . read more
