The most propagandized country on earth, the US
24 oct  |  Representative Press, an independent media outlet, has created the following, controversial videos regarding Israel and Palestine. Several fraudulent takedown notices have been placed on these videos in an attempt to censor their content.

Sixty years of massive, ongoing, coldly calculated human rights abuses against the Palestinian people.

That's the legacy of the State of Israel.

Americans pay the bills for this tyranny and our hopelessly corrupt news media and elected officials go along with it because it's politically expedient.

Give the taxpayers their money back
28 sep  |  By Sumer Dayal

So Israel is going to continue its settlements, having not reached an agreement but “even more hopeful” of one in the future, and the world is again left thinking when is it going to end.

But I want to take the ideas of hope, emotion and aspiration out of it. Let’s remove the human element and let’s talk like rationalist capitalist players.

Mr. Abbas, Mr. Netanyahu and whomever America has sent over this time - you fly halfway across the world, eat, drink, talk, live in expensive hotels and then go back home without a settlement?

That’s called bad business.

You’ve been doing it for years and your shareholders are not amused.

Stop wasting the money of the Israeli, American and the (kind of) Palestinian people.

When people pay for your road-trip, they expect results. If you want it, make it happen.

If you don’t, just say so.

Either way, do what we want and stop wasting our money.  . . read more

Kucinich on the Destruction of the UN Headquarters in Gaza
16 jan  |

Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today made the following statement about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza on the House Floor:

"The attack on the United Nations headquarters in Gaza is further proof that a post-legal era in world affairs has taken shape; where law and moral principles are irrelevant, where might makes right, where retribution and vengeance, even against innocent children, fails to shake us from moral lethargy or political paralysis.

"Collective punishment, disproportionate use of force, using U.S. planes, helicopters and munitions to attack a wounded, starved and thirsty civilian population of mostly children trapped in a box called Gaza has become acceptable, perhaps because we have already accepted the deaths of over one million innocent civilians in Iraq in a war based on lies.

"There is a way out. We must ask those who were given our armaments for defense to stop the aggression, end the blockade, end the occupation, and reconnect with the high sentiments that rallied their own suffering, wounded people to nationhood generations ago. When we recognize the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, when we come to grips with the reality of suffering on both sides, we may yet find a way to save ourselves.

Dennis Kucinich is a congressman from Ohio and a 2008 presidential primary candidate. http://kucinich.us/ The best way to reach congressman Kucinich is through the information on his congressional website

Netanyahu and Obama meet to turn back time
21 may  |  By Stephen Myles

Netanyahu and Obama have met in the White House, with the American President coming out and saying that Israel's borders should be pulled back to pre-1967 levels.

That would mean losing the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the very strategically important Golan Heights.

Seems simple enough but one unnamed observer in Jerusalem has come out and said that with the Arab Spring bringing a positive future to the Middle East it seems strange that Obama wants to turn back time.

What do you think of the suggestion? Should Israel give up its 1967 wins or think of another solution? Tell us and remember...Disqus!  . . read more
